On Forai

Forai's holistic care starts with providing training and peer support to refugee and immigrant women who have recently arrived to St. Louis. These women are equipped with the skills needed to create beautiful, handcrafted jewelry and textiles. From there, Forai helps these female artisans sell their creations through their own store, partnerships with retailers, and online sales. Forai provides a welcoming space where women from diverse backgrounds can connect, share experiences, and build meaningful relationships.

Each year, Forai supports 8-12 women on the artisan/artisan-admin team and 20-30 women in community sewing classes. By purchasing Forai's products, you directly contribute to providing fair wages and ongoing support to these women.
