      On Thai Village

Vocational training is available for all employees in sewing, leather-working, woodworking, jewelry making and more. Additionally, the non-profit provides training in leadership, business, and mental health.

And their financial savings program teaches saving and budgeting techniques while matching up to a certain amount each month to help pave a path to economic stability. Thai Village sources materials from surrounding villages to create more jobs and products are intentionally designed to preserve indigenous art forms passed down through generations.

As a nonprofit artisan marketplace committed to social and environmental transparency, Joffa bridges the gap between maker and buyer and prioritizes the person behind every product. Our mission is to make it easier to do what you’re already doing — making socially conscious shopping decisions while finding quality items you actually want to buy.
