Founded in 2014, Riau Candle is a nonprofit business development project based in Batam, Indonesia, serving the Riau Islands—spanning over 2,000 islands. Riau Candle trains their small group of local artisans to hand-pour premium candles with scents inspired by American traditions and the islands they call home. Each candle blends artistry with impact.
In addition to providing sustainable jobs, Riau Candle supports two local orphanages by delivering weekly nutritious fruits and vegetables, improving facilities, and offering life skills training and educational grants.
