On Holy Land Designs
What began with handcrafted olive wood camels has grown into a social enterprise that provides vocational training, fair wages, and dignified work for artisans who might otherwise have limited job opportunities.
Each piece is crafted from olive wood, a material considered blessed in the Middle East. Rather than cutting down trees for wood, Holy Land Designs uses pruned or removed olive trees. Through fair trade practices and equal opportunities for all workers, the organization works to improve the quality of life and strengthen the community through ethical craftsmanship.
