Elizabeth's Voice
On Elizabeth's Voice
Elizabeth’s Voice is a nonprofit in Uganda that employs women with no formal education and limited work opportunities. They provide a dignified wage, job skills training, temporary housing, daily meals, and pay school tuition for the children of the artisans who create their handmade products.
With the idea that we all benefit when we help each other, one dream of Elizabeth’s Voice is to empower their artisans to give back to their own community. This dream is often realized as many of the women foster local children and visit to the local hospital. 100% of the profits are reinvested into the business to keep women in Uganda working.
